Bosa was drafted in the first round by the San Diego Charges. He was first of the five Ohio State players to be drafted in the first round of 2016 Draft followed by Ezekiel Elliot, Eli Apple, Taylor Decker, and Darron Lee.

That year he made his debut against Oakland Raiders with him being named soon as the Defensive Rookie of the Month for October. His impressive performances would again land him another set of accolades including being named as the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year as well as ranked as the 100th best player in the league by his peers on the NFL Top 100 Players of 2017.

2018 was an even better year for Bosa and this was justified by the same rankings where he jumped into being ranked as number 37 on the list. This season he has been a bit inconsistent since a recent foot injury but it seems that he is getting the momentum back.

5. His families are all involved in the NFL.

Joey Bosa actually has a family full of football players. Starting from his father John Bosa, he played in the NFL from 1987 to 1989. His brother also played for Ohio State becoming a top prospect in the 2019 NFL Draft.
