Young Bae is a South Korean tattoo artist who is best known for being a part of VH1’s popular reality television series called Black Ink Crew: New York for a total of five seasons. As of 2019, Young Bae net worth is estimated to be $200,000.

Young was born on October 9, 1984, in Seoul, South Korea. She has a story of a struggler in her early days as much of her childhood was spent in poverty. Her family was homeless and to top it off, her father was very abusive towards her and her mother.

Yet, Young considers her mother as a great inspiration to her and would adore the paintings that she would create. What is amazing is that despite their tough economic background, Young was still able to graduate from Chugye University for The Arts in Seoul which shows the level of hard work she did.

Then, she got a cleaning job at a tattoo shop and she would observe everything about the industry there. She is a self-taught tattoo artist and would fill in once in a while in the Black Ink tattoo shop. Then, here she got the golden opportunity to be a part of the show.

Being a part of the show, she started getting massive amounts of fan support and eventually became one of the most popular characters in the show.
