Kemp was born on 28 January 1993, in Los Angeles and as a result, he has dual citizenship of both the US and the UK. His father is a well-known actor and musician named Martin Kemp, known for his time in the show EastEnders whilst his mother is the singer named Shirlie Holliman. Moreover, the legendary George Michael was his godfather.

He received his education from Berkhamsted School and later decided to be a part of Capital FM in 2014. Over the years, he would get promoted and even had the chance to interview some well-known names including Justin Bieber and the boy band named One Direction.

In 2016, Kemp became the new face of The Capital Evening Show. Moreover, a year later, he would be the host of the popular Capital Breakfast show. He has also been associated with the popular reality show called The X Factor where he worked as a digital presenter.
