Parisi was born on 24 May 1960, in London. His mother Irene was only 18 years old while his father George was only 17 when he was born. After his birth, the couple would struggle as they became homeless and as a result, he along with his sister of a year older than him would be taken into care in Reading, Berkshire.

He would later mention that his mother would only inform Parisi of this in 2012 when she was older but with the best intentions for Parisi. Parisi had to leave school when he was only 13 years old as he was said to be slow but in reality, had dyslexia.
