Ashley Massaro was an American professional wrestler, model, and television personality. She was known for her time with WWE and her appearance on show “Survivor: China”.

1. Ashley Massaro net worth is estimated to be $2 million.

Ashley Massaro net worth before her death is estimated to be $2 million. She collected the majority of her net worth during her three year time with WWE. Massaro joined WWE in 2005 and her salary was $250,000 per year. She also appeared on several movies and television shows which boosted her net worth.

She also endorsed some of the brands like Apple, Diet Pepsi, Lamborghini, Burberry and many others which boosted her personal fortune.

2. She was a tattoo fanatic.

Massaro had several tattoos on her body including a black and pink nautical star on the back of both of her elbows. She also had a pink and red dragon tattoo surrounding kanji lettering which means “Trust No One” on the right side of her torso.

She also had symbols on some part of her lower back, a butterfly on her right hip. In addition to her love from the tattoo, she also had several piercings including a ‘Monroe’ near the upper lip and ‘Snakebites’ on each side of the lower hip.

3. She started her wrestling career in 2005.

Massaro was interested in WWE after she found about WWE’s 2005 Raw Diva Search. She was declared the winner on August 15, 2005, edition of Raw where she was awarded with $250,000 and a one-year contract with WWE.

Massaro made her in-ring debut on August 29, 2005, where she was beaten by Victoria. Her time at Raw was mostly the feud with Vince’s Devils and Mickie James. With that feud, she formed an alliance of female villains and she became the valet for the WWE Tag Team Champions Paul London and Brian Kendrick. Her high profile match at WWE was at WrestleMania 23 against Melina for a WWE Women’s Championship.

She was released from her WWE contract on July 9, 2008. A week prior to her release, she announced that she had to leave due to her daughter being sick.

4. Her Acting and Modeling Career

Massaro was crowned 2002 Miss Hawaiian Tropic USA and 2004 Miss Hawaiian Tropic Canada. She has also appeared in magazines like Maxim, Stuff, FHM, and on the cover of Playboy Magazine.

In addition to that, she was also a contestant on the TV show “Survivor: China”. Massaro has also guest starred on an episode of Television series “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” alongside wrestlers like John Cena and Batista. Other than that, she has also appeared in a music video of “Throw It On Me” and “Hell Yeah”.

5. Ashley Massaro passed away ten days before her 40th birthday.

Massaro died at the age of 39 in Long Island, New York just 10 days before her 40th birthday. Her official cause of death is not known till now and Suffolk County Police say it was “non-criminal”.

She had a daughter named Alexa Massaro who was born in 2000. Ashley has never been married and has ever publicly confirmed who Alexa’s father is. After Ashley untimely death was confirmed by WWE, Alexa shared a tribute to her mother on Instagram which read “i love you, mommy, i want to wake up in your arms more than anything I want to give u a big hug please come back this can’t be real.”
