Linda Plant was raised in Leeds. Her father was a tailor while her mother worked in a market stall selling hosiery, handbags, and jewelry. Soon after working with her mother, she tried to make her business expand further. She opened her own set of retail shops and imported clothes from Hong Kong. She founded the fashion brand Honeysuckle.
