Tyla Yaweh was born on May 31, 1995, in Altamonte Springs, Florida, with the name Tyler Jamal Brown. Tyler used to live with his mother and he was at the time, working at a nominal job at the local Dunkin’ Donuts. However, it was later discovered by his mother that Tyler was actually holding this job in order to cover up for how he was earning money. It was actually by dealing with drugs in his hometown. This discovery led to his mother kicking him out of home and Tyler was forced to get out. This is when he moved to Los Angeles to chase the dream of being a rapper.
