Alex joined Tik Tok recently in 2019. Her first video was posted on April 18, 2019, which received over 6,800 likes. It wasn’t until November that she achieved fame. On November 6, 2019, she posted a video acknowledging that she looks like Katie from “Horton Hears a Who” and Hannah Brown from The Bachelorette. The video got over 31,800 likes in a month.

Her popularity soared 20 days later when she uploaded a video of herself saying “hi” repeatedly until she loses her voice. The video received over 1.7 million likes and 47,800 shares in just four days.

Alex is known for posting mostly dancing and lip-syncing related videos on her account. Because of those three videos mentioned earlier, she has been able to grow her fame from a few hundred to 1.3 million followers.

However, recently, she has attracted some negative attention. Earlier this week, one Instagram user claimed that she used the N-word in a conversation over Instagram DMs. Some said negative things about her but her fans stayed on her side and believed that DM is fake.

Some of her fans did some research and claimed that the clip of French’s N-word DMs was faked. In addition to that, the Instagram account who tried to defame her is now been switched to private. Meanwhile, French hasn’t responded on that matter.
